Practical Support and Shared Learning

I work with people and groups who want to design, learn, and live in harmony with nature. My approach is practical, collaborative, and rooted in real, working landscapes.

Volunteering is a chance to learn by doing, connect with others, and support the farm’s ongoing story.

Volunteering: Orchard & Woodland : Local Groups
Orchard sessions: weekly, April–September
Woodland sessions: monthly, equinox to equinox

WOOFING: A member of the UK Woofing network.

Consultation

I give consultations about- gardens, allotments, community gardens, land projects and small farms, other types of community project or sustainable business.

In-Person Consultations (Local)
£70.00

Within a 5 mile radius of Hastings (contact me directly for further afield). During a consultation I would visit your project space and cast my horticultural and permaculture eye over it to see what initially comes up, in order to make it a success.

Online Consultations
£50.00

A 40 minute online consultation, and a follow up e-mail of some suggestions and sign posting that would be helpful to your project. Useful at the beginning of a project or if you have become stuck and would appreciate some direction and different ideas.

"Thank you so much for your visit, it really helped to get your feedback – especially about what trees to cut down and replace with fruit trees, the leylandeii are going!"
